About me (and this blog)

Hi. I’m Frankie, the woman behind the The ADHD Diaries.

I am:

  • 27 years old
  • A writer/editor
  • Living in the UK

I was recently (March 2018) diagnosed with ADHD. I was even more recently (June 2018) given medication to help control it, which is when I started writing a diary. I thought it would be useful to track my progress, or lack thereof.

I am a writer by trade, and it is in my nature to show off, so I am publishing that diary, along with some related writing, online. Welcome.

This is still mainly for me, really, but I hope it helps people: whether they also have (or suspect they have) ADHD or whether they just want to gain insight into the disorder.

I would be truly delighted to hear from any of you, should you wish to contact me.

I often use free stock images on this website.

I get them mainly from Pixabay and Wikimedia. I try to attribute correctly where I can: if I’ve messed up, please let me know.
